“Wish train” riding in Serbia again – all creatives welcome!

[et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.9.2″ custom_margin=”0px||0px||false|false” custom_padding=”0px||0px||false|false” locked=”off” collapsed=”off”][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ use_custom_gutter=”on” make_equal=”on” admin_label=”Red” _builder_version=”4.9.2″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” width=”100%” collapsed=”off”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.3″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”]

Young creatives who join the “Wish Train” (“Voz želja”) – a contest whose goal is to strengthen good relations between Russia and Serbia, can win valuable prizes. For the fifth year in a row, the creative contest is organized by RZD International, the Svetosavsko zvonce magazine and the Serbian department of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations (IFUOCN).

This year, the contest is called “The way of the imagination” (“Putem mašte”), and participants are invited to express their vision of friendly relations between the two countries in the form of emblems and slogans. The contest has two nominations and is divided by age, so that age groups from 8 to 12, from 13 to 15, as well as from 16 to 19 can participate.

“In each group, three works will be awarded, which will be evaluated by a jury composed of representatives of the organizers of the contest, the Russian Consulate in Belgrade, Serbian Railways and selected professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Free form of expression and use of all materials and technologies is allowed. The awarded works will be published in a catalogue. Practical application is not planned for now, but there is always a possibility. Valuable gifts await the creators: tablets, laptops, cameras, mobile phones, books,” said Natalija Kocev, director of the Serbian department of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations.

Participants should send their works by November 30 to the website of Svetosavsko zvonce magazine – www.zvonce.spc.rs – or to the address of the Serbian Department of the Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations: 27. marta Street, 50, Belgrade.

This creative task activates the imagination and encourages young people to explore and learn as much as possible about Russia and Serbia. Every year, more and more works arrive. In 2017, there were more than 1,000 of them, although the task was perhaps the most demanding until then – making a crossword puzzle. The tasks are different every year, so, from 2014 until now, the participants in the contest have written literary works, made photographs, drawings…

This year, the “Wish Train,” riding “The way of the imagination,” can hardly wait to host its new “passengers” – young creative workers and their emblems and slogans!

In order to promote dual education and professional practice, the Agricultural School PK Belgrade, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Mercator-S, for the second year in a row, organized a graduation ceremony for graduates who got jobs in that company. In addition to the Agricultural School PK Belgrade, the Chemical-Technological School Subotica, the High School Grocka, the School of Economics Čačak and the School of Food and Catering Čačak also joined the youth employment project. The number of students who got a job through the dual education program increased from last year’s 9 to 16.

“Students who sign employment contracts immediately after graduation have the privilege of starting a career immediately after school and that is the key to a good start,” said Gabrijela Grujić, Assistant Minister for Dual and Entrepreneurial Education, and added: “Mercator-S is a company that was among the first to join dual education programs, which in addition to theoretical classes include learning through work with the employer and we are extremely glad that this year we have an even larger number of students who found jobs like this, straight from their student’s desks.”

The importance of cooperation between education and economy was especially emphasized by Mirjana Kovačević, director of the Centre for Education of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, who says that that is a safer and easier way of finding a job.

“The dual education system is one of the most important and priority topics of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and we support close cooperation between education and the economy, which is key to reducing unemployment in Serbia,” Mirjana Kovačević pointed out.

The host of the conference, Dragan Filipović, the director of the Agricultural School PK Belgrade, pointed out that he was especially glad that his best students had the opportunity to replace their places in the classrooms with jobs in the company this year as well.

Jelena Jovanović, head of the Recruitment and Selection Service at Mercator-S, welcomed her new colleagues.

“In order for all our stores to function flawlessly, it is important that we constantly strengthen the team of our employees with new, young people who are ready to learn. That is why I am especially glad that these students are here and that I can tell them, as my new colleagues – Welcome to Mercator-S!,” said Jelena Jovanović.

Mercator-S has been implementing cooperation programs with 25 high schools throughout Serbia for years. More than 300 students from these projects, more do internships every year in IDEA, Roda and Mercator stores.

Banca Intesa supporting the 4th italian football camp for children

For the fourth year in a row, Banca Intesa will support the holding of the Italian football camp in Serbia, which will provide boys and girls aged 7 to 14 with a unique opportunity to learn about the skills and secrets of this sport by working with top Italian coaches.

At today’s press conference on the occasion of the announcement of the camp, the official promoter of the project, once one of the best defenders in European football and a former member of the Italian national team, as well as a football player who wore the colors of Juventus and Barcelona – Gianluca Zambrotta, expressed his satisfaction with being a part of such a successful football story for kids.

“I am very glad that, thanks to the support of Banca Intesa, I am here in Belgrade, in a country that I am increasingly convinced will be the main meeting place of football in this part of Europe.

Now, when only a few days separate us from the beginning of the FIFA World Cup in Russia 2018, I am proud to remind you that, although Italy will not participate this time, as the winner of four titles, it is still one of the main players on the world football scene. I recently visited new football markets, such as India and China, and I saw how much football can positively affect not only the youth, but also the development of the whole country. I am convinced that this scenario can happen to Serbia as well, because football has long been rooted in the consciousness of all generations,” said Gianluca Zambrotta.

It will be held from June 18 to 22, 2018 on the sports field of FC Voždovac in the Stadium Shopping Centre and it includes technical, fitness and tactical training. The Italian football camp, synonymous with football, fun and success, is under the auspices of the Club Italia Master association, which brings together former players of the Italian national team and will be led by five Italian coaches who will discover and teach various top football skills in practice.

“As part of the Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo, Banca Intesa is supporting the organization of this truly great sporting event for children for the fourth year in a row. We believe that, by actively engaging in initiatives of this kind, on the one hand, we contribute to the promotion of sports, and thus positive values such as team spirit and the formation of healthy habits and the proper development of the youngest and, on the other, the creation of new sports stars,” said Sandra Lazarević, Director of the Banca Intesa PR and Marketing Communications Sector.“I am really proud that we achieved cooperation this year and brought a legendary player like Gianluca Zambrotta to Belgrade, who was part of the champion team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. I would like to emphasize once again that the event is free for young Serbian football players, because we recognized the role and importance of football in the growth of new generations of players. For that reason, we travel around the world with the legends of Italian football and participate in important events – such as the Italian Football Camp in Belgrade 2018,” said Marco Schembri, CEO of World Camp Srl, the Italian company that organized this event.

As before, the three most talented participants of the camp will visit Italy and, together with children from other countries, will attend the Day of the Italian football camp. This three-day event will be held on the grounds of the Coverciano Academy, and selected players will be able to enjoy trainings, matches, special courses, a tour of the Italian Football Museum, a Serie A match, as well as other interesting contents.

Digital ”The beauty of vice” shines in front of Belgrade audience

If it were not for Živko Nikolić, the director of “The Beauty of Vice,” the customs and reality of the Montenegrin karst might have been forgotten. If it weren’t for the Vip Kinoteka project, maybe this masterpiece, as well as other film classics of domestic cinematography, would not have lived the new life they deserve. Our audience is more and more numerous with each screening and the project is getting more and more attention!

Under the open Kalemegdan sky, the cult achievement of the Serbian Fellini Živko Nikolić, “The Beauty of Vice,” had its premiere screening in its digitally restored version within the Vip Kinoteka project.

The Yugoslav classic from 1986 once gathered the great names of our theatre such as Petar Božović, Mira Furlan, Mira Banjac, Milutin Mime Karadžić, Miodrag Miki Krstović, Eva Ras, Vesna Pećanac, Bora Stijepanović, Dobrila Ćirković, Jasna Beri, Bora Begović, Milo Miranović, and others. The film is characterized as a comedy and, on the one hand, it very sincerely represents the traditional way of life in the Montenegrin hills, and on the other, the one on the coast, which is deprived of all moral values.

“A cult film in which famous actors played memorable roles whose replicas are still quoted today and, even after more than 30 years, it does not lose its freshness, topicality, and popularity. “A witty depiction of the contradictory reality of this region makes this film one of the most-watched comedies and, with the cooperation of the Yugoslav Cinematheque and Vip, ‘The Beauty of Vice’ gained new value,” said Jugoslav Pantelić, director of the Yugoslav Cinematheque.

In the production of the Centar film, this masterpiece of Yugoslav cinematography revolutionized the film production of the former SFRY, since almost 870 thousand cinema tickets were sold, while Mira Furlan was awarded a Golden Arena for her role at the Pula Film Festival. „We are very happy that the Vip Kinoteka project is receiving great reactions from the public, and on the wings of that positive energy, we have reached the fifth classic, which has shone in a new, digital spirit. More films are waiting for us, and the next premiere is the digital version of the film ‘The Elusive Summer of ’68,’ this time in Novi Sad,” pointed out Dejan Turk, General Manager of Vip mobile.

The premiere was made special by those who worked on the creation of this classic, actors – Petar Božović, Mira Banjac, Vesna Pećanac, Miodrag Miki Krstović, and composer Zoran Simjanović, along with other famous names – Branko Babović, Tatjana Pujin, Maja Suša, Sandra Perović, Luna Lu, media representative, Jugoslav Pantelić, director of the Yugoslav Cinematheque and Dejan Turk, general director of Vip.

Special screenings of the film “The Beauty of Vice” for the Belgrade audience will be organized on May 30 at 6 and 8:30 pm, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Yugoslav Cinematheque. All interested people will be able to pick up tickets at the box office of the Cinematheque at 1 Uzun-Mirko Street. The number of seats is limited, and the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased per person is two.

The CSR campaign CIF Cleans Serbia, which Unilever is conducting for the fifth year in a row, continued in Niš, where the amphitheatre near the monument to Šaban Bajramović was cleaned and decorated. The goal of the project is to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and hygienic habits, not just in homes but the wider environment.

This year’s campaign started in Pančevo, and the next location for the big spring-cleaning was Niš, where Unilever representatives planted flowers, placed new dustbins and benches, and painted the existing ones, so the amphitheatre on the Niš quay would again shine and become the favourite spot for relaxation during the summer.

The campaign CIF Cleans Serbia has been successfully conducted throughout Serbia since 2014, and more than 20 locations of historical, cultural and public importance were cleaned, decorated and saved from deteriorating further. The campaign achieved excellent results so far, and you can find more information about the campaign at www.cifcistisrbiju.rs.

From April 16 to 28, at the Smederevo City Cultural Centre, fans of the theatre had the opportunity to, see masterful performances of Nušić’s dramas, which deal with weaknesses of individuals and the society in a witty way. It is this event that makes Smederevo the capital of drama art, that gathers the most distinguished individuals of our theatre. Full houses and applauses confirmed that this even still lives.

Nušić’s Days ended successfully, but that it not the reason, if you have not visited Smederevo yet, to do so. The former Serbian capital, the city of Jerina the Cursed, which combines myth and fact into one, on the former border between the East and West, is close to Belgrade and can be the right destination for a picnic, short trip or a weekend with family and friends. Do not miss the opportunity to do so and enjoy the vineyards in the vicinity of Smederevo, as well as numerous cultural and historical monuments and events that make this city so interesting.

Super Card, Mercator-S and Sberbank Srbija are inviting creative agencies, universities, companies and individuals in the field of data analytics, statistics, math and marketing research to register to the Super Contest by Thursday, 17 May, at superkonkurs@superkartica.rs, and participate in a big CRM competition. In their application they need to send the basic info on the organization, biographies of team members and portfolio of works.

On the basis of the applications, the jury will make a selection of the applicants and will sign confidentiality contracts with those who pass the contest, after which they will be given concrete tasks. The Super Card has a database of more than 1,000,000 members and a portion of this non-personalized database will be handed to creatives and analysts who are ready to engage into research such as data analysis and insight creation, and / or creative use of data.

Criteria for selection for analytical and creative solutions will be innovation, simplicity, feasibility and sustainability.

The professional jury who will make the selection will consist of prof. dr Goran Petković, Marijana Kristić, strategic consultant, Žarko Malinović, general secretary for trade of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Matija Protić, Mercator-S marketing director, Slavoljub Stanković, creative director at Mercator-S, Damjan Miočinović, head of Business Solutions System at Mercator-S, Vladimir Milićević, data scientist at Ringier Axel Springer, Aleksandar Milić, Executive Director of Marketing and Communication Sector at Sberbank Serbia, Dejan Ivić, Co-brand Manager – Partnership and Digital Banking Department at Sberbank Serbia and Ljiljana Ahmetović, the director of the Super Card. After the competition, they will evaluate all proposed solutions and declare one or more winners who will be rewarded with a total amount of €75,000 in a two-year cooperation agreement with Super Card.

Lazar Džamić, one of the world’s leading digital strategists and consultant in the Super Contest project, says that smart companies in the world for decades now have put their marketing focus on the area called CRM.

“Maturity of a market can be measured in how much business and marketing messages sent to consumers are personalized and relevant. Possibilities in this space are spectacular, and the Super Card has the chance to show how marketing intelligence boosts sales, profits and customer satisfaction,” Lazar Džamić said.

The great advantage of the CRM concept has been recognized by economies of various countries, because consumers who come to the store every day are the ones who dictate the tempo of both production and sales.

“On the market of the Republic of Serbia there is great room for advancing the strategic approach to loyalty of customers, and therefore I am confident that the Super Card’s CRM promotion will lead to a better understanding of consumers as well as providing new value to its customers,” said Žarko Malinović, Secretary General for Trade at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

CRM research is not only present in the economy, but also in science. That is why one of the jury members is Dr. Goran Petković, professor at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade.

“When the database on previous transactions is used in the right way, it is a tool that saves both time and money for citizens,” said prof. dr Goran Petković.

“We live at a time when data are the biggest wealth. Business without data is like moving with your eyes closed. In order to move in the right direction, you need human intelligence and good tools,” said Vladimir Milićević, data scientist at Ringier Axel Springer.

The world’s largest retailers have started to develop CRM marketing on time. That is why Mercator-S has been focusing on consumer behaviour data for years in Serbia.

“Imagine not hearing and seeing a customer. What are you going to say? You’ll talk about your product. You’ll talk about yourself. When you open your eyes, you’ll probably see no one is in front of you. The buyer is gone. Had you known whom you were speaking to, you would have realized they aren’t a consumer, they’re a person. A person with a name and a surname. That is why the CRM database is important. It opens the eyes and ears for true communication,” explained Slavoljub Stanković, Creative Director at Mercator-S.

“The Super Card database and CRM approach are one of the most important resources for our marketing strategy. At the same time, it enables us to understand the needs of the entire market, but also of every customer individually, and to respectively create offers tailored to our customers,” said Matija Protić, Marketing Director of Mercator-S.

Research into business of European companies with an integrated CRM concept shows that 60 percent of them are growing faster than competitors and are expanding the market.

“In addition to the many benefits they offer, modern CRM systems provide a great base when planning marketing campaigns. In this way, we have the opportunity to reach our target group through efficient creative solutions,” said Aleksandar Milić, Director of Marketing and Communications Department at Sberbank Serbia.

The Super Contest was organized exactly because of this importance of the CRM. If you are an analyst who knows that a real insight exists between the lines, or you are a creator who thinks outside the box, sign up. The winners will win a two-year partnership with Super Card and a total prize pool of €75,000.

“As one of the largest loyalty programs in the country, Super Card has the honour to invite institutions, companies, and individuals from this area to join us in developing the latest analytical and creative solutions that are crucial to a good understanding of the needs and habits of customers and consumers,” Said Ljiljana Ahmetović, director of the Super Card association.

The Super Card’s expert committee will review the submitted works and decide on who will be the data partners for 2018/19 season based on the defined criteria. All additional questions can be sent to superkonkurs@superkartica.rs and you’ll receive the answers within 24 hours.
